Whether your mouse breaks, runs out of batteries, or if you want to have an alternative way to the cursor, you can use the arrow keys on the numeric keypad. before proceeding, ensure the Num Lock feature is toggled on by pressing the key till you see an indicator light, or can type numbers with the keypad.
Step.1 Press Left Alt+Left Shift+Num Lock on your keyboard at the same time.
Step.2 A Window will appear, press Spacebar or Enter.
Step.3 Repeat Step 1 to turn Off Mouse Keys.
If the Method above did not work, you can enable or disable Mouse Keys, using the following steps. in case your mouse isn’t working, use the Tab key and Spacebar to navigate through menus.
Step.1 Press The Window Key or Click Start Menu.
Step.2 Type “Mouse Keys” and Click “Move the Pointer with The Keyboard using Mouse Keys”.
Step.3 Check the Check box next to Turn on Mouse Keys.
If you want to change the Cursor’s movement speed or other settings, Click Set up Mouse Keys.
Step.4 Click Apply and Ok.
