Facebook provides us an internal search engine with a top search bar where we can search posts, people, photos, videos, shops, pages, places, groups, apps, events, and links. Whenever we search any term, Facebook saves our searches, here questions arise how to clear Facebook search history and why Facebook keeps it?
Facebook says it stores these searches to show you relevant search results,
all this activity is kept as private, visible only to you, so it’s not necessarily a violation of privacy, but we are a little uncomfortable with the idea of all our searches being stored as a long-term record. If you would rather not have this, erasing them is pretty simple. Just follow steps below to clear Facebook search history.
Sign in to your Facebook account and click on small arrowhead like button on right side and select and click on Activity Log down there.
A new page will open go to left side and click on More.
Select Search History from the list and click on it.
The new page will show you your search history, Just click on “Clear Searches” as shown in the image.
A confirmation message will appear on screen, if you are intentionally removing Facebook search history then just click on Clear Searches.
Its done search history is removed from Facebook successfully.
